ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS BLUSH TRIO REVIEW

I have always wanted to have a blush palette with a few shades of red/pink for me to choose from, depending on my mood or the look that I want to pull off. The kind sales person in Sephora gave me a few options. ABH stood out among the other palettes because of its rich, pigmented colour at first swatch. It is totally love at first swatch! There are many variants for the blush trio palette, which are: Pool Party, Berry Adore, Peachy Love, Pink Passion, and Cocktail Party.

I purchased Cocktail Party because it has such a diversified colour range. The trio definitely differs very much from each other. Each shade has its unique beauty and personality. Initially, I wanted Peachy Love but it was sold out in the website, and it was Black Friday at that time. Now you can imagine how intense the situation was, and I settled for Cocktail Party eventually. The three shades are: Vegas, Scorching, Babe.

From left to right, Vegas, Scorching, Babe.

Vegas is a matte corduroy brown as described by Sephora. It is quite dark for my skin tone, almost acting like a bronzer/contour. The warm shade is suitable for a summer sun-kissed look which is totally sexy.

Scorching is a matte vivid hibiscus. It has a very bright, vivid coral pink which literally lit my face up. It is a fun shade to work with, perfect in creating a party look. Totally makes my face look elated.

Babe is a subtle baby pink shade with a satin finish. It is the least pigmented shade in this trio palette. It is suitable for casual occasion or no make-up look where you just want a hint of pink on your cheeks, avoiding looking too pale. It is also a fun and playful colour.

This blush palette is so versatile. It allows me to create a variety of looks. Casual or Glam, it got me covered. This is ABH’s first ever cheek palette and it is just as amazing as other products. ABH is relatively new and recently introduced in Malaysia last year, and it has already won my heart. I just love how rich the colours are. So pigmented that a light dab of brush is enough.

Will I repurchase? Yes, for Peachy Love maybe.
Retaile priced at RM 145.00 in Sephora Malaysia
